I am going to buy a brand new EB X with the 6.0L in the next couple of weeks and I want to make sure I have the latest and greatest injectors, updates, engine, etc. what do I need to look for?
emtabmm,
there are many people speaking about there build dates and I am wondering if you can tell me about mine. I took delivery on 1-14-03 and its VIN is 1FTNW20P33EB78599. I"m not sure if this is real important to know but many problems seem to be from the earliest engine builds, which mine may be! I am considering trading up to a 2004 or waiting a bit longer and see how this model goes, complaint wise. I like my truck but since the Nov. reflash mine is noisier which so far is my only complaint.
My next question is will the dealer do the December reflash if there is no recall on my truck or do I just take it in and say I want the latest reflash done? I still havent heard back from the dealer about the radio clock issue either. I doubt that they will do anything unless Ford ok's it on a larger scale. Thanks for all the info and glad to have someone with your knowledge onboard!
