I bit the bullet and ordered an Eaton ELocker today for my rear 8.8 open diff.
I pondered waiting on the Aussie to be available for the rear 8.8 but decided that I tow too much to have an automatic locker in the rear.
I am still thinking about the front. Aussie or hold out for another elocker. The powertraxx no-slip is a good drop in "soft" alternative to the front but at $420-440 might go with another Elocker. The Aussie is $199 and supposed to be "good" in the front according to Torque Masters.
I will let you know how it goes on the elocker installation. With the Holidays it may be a week or so before I meet up with it.
I am not sure about the Aussie or the Eaton ELocker for that matter. I haven't heard about any info as far as good, bad or indifferent about either of these two units. But I personally would consider an ARB. You most likely have the Dana 44 up front. ARB makes them for both the 8.8 rear and the Dana 44 front. The two only draw backs to these units is you need an air compressor and the price, anywhere from $630 up to $690. I already have an air compressor installed. One of my next up grades is installing a set of ARB's, front and rear. I'm in the procces of installing an Atlas II transfer case and a Klune-V under drive unit this week between rains. So getting the ARBS will have to wait until next year sometime.
Tite4X4, I have the D44 up front. Aussie and everone just about anyway makes stuff for it. I can get the ELocker cheaper than any of the others and setup is supposed to be more straight forward for people keeping there existing housings etc. I'll let you know how it goes. The nice thing about electric is you don't need a compressor. I use Light weight aluminum cylinders and Nitrogen anyway to air up tires in the field anyway.
This is an experiment. I may end up doing nothing to the front. I am leaning toward the Aussie. I like the No-Slip but it costs almost as much as the ELocker.
