Vin Help

The VIN decoder in the tech articles didn't answer my questions, or i have the wrong numbers.

VIN:
f15mkw61530

Color: 8

Axle: 14J

Trans code: 6

punching those numbers into the vin decoder in my gallery links gives:

Model Year: 75
Series: F150 - 4x2 Pickup
Engine: 8 Cyl, 390ci, 4bbl
Assembly Plant: Kansas City
Transmission: No code selected
Front Axle: w/P.S.
Rear Axle: 3.00 3750lb Ford

The transmission code 6 is not listed as a selection tho.

Could the 6 possibly be a 'G'? The numbers are what my buddy gave me, so I could be misreading his handwriting.

Howdy.

How about adding the 96 F series to your gallery!!!

I can't get this to decode.

The vehicle is a 96, F150, XLT,4X4, ext cab or is that super cab,351W.
Short bed.
Rear axle is H9 (3.55 LS)???
Front unknown.
Trans is an E (E4OD).
