Flywheel re surfacing?
Im in the process of pulling out the old borg warner 4 speed from my 86 F150. I bought a Pro Comp C4 with all the goodies and I am down to the flywheel right now and it looks sort of rough. The guys I ordeered the Tranny from said no worries about the flywheel. Were they right ? And one other thing Theres a switch attached to the clutch peddle, any Ideas what it might do and is it something Im going to have to worry about? Thanks in advance

You have to buy a flexplate. And if you have a 302, make sure you get the right balance. If your motor is an 86, fine, get an 86 flexplate. If it's not an original motor, you need to figure out the year. Around 1982-83 and below takes a 28 ounce inbalance flexplate, and 83 up takes a 50 ounce flexplate.
