Bought this Christmas present for myself yesterday,(internet, shipping to a local gun shop) for $440 with shipping and tax. (MSRP $655) The sweet part is I'll purchase a conversion kit for firing .22 rounds for the gun range, and the kids will be able to enjoy it once they get old enough. This replaces a pistol I sold a couple years ago (.357)
Nice gun. Im looking into buying a gun
I've done the brady bill several times
But all for long guns (not 21 yet)
Do I still have to wait the 3 days since I've had the bill ran on me atleast 8 times?
Or do I have to have it ran, and still wait three days?
I like Taurus sidearms. Looks like you got a good deal. When you get the .22 conversion kit, you and yours can do a lot of plinking at an affordable price.
I'm interested to know how it shoots for you out of the box with the .40 cal. Let us know, eh!

Thks! Will do!
Andy, not sure how to answer your question. In this state, its something like a 7 day wait period.
The waiting period in AZ is a joke. I have bought five sidearm's and all that I have had to wait for them is twenty minutes. In AZ if you have a CCW you do not have to wait at all, because they view that as the background check.
I have a 40 S&W and love the round. Mine is an HK, very reliable gun and very accurate out of the box.
I shot the Tauras 9mm Model (92?) and a Glock .40 side by side last year. The grip didn't feel quite right on the Glock for my hands, thus my choice. Both are nice weapons. (The PT100 is basically the Model 92 with a .40 bore barrel.)
While taurus has improved their qualoity the past few years it's still not a Smith and Wesson or a walther or a Glock or one of the brands that has a reputation for reliability etc.
They make a resonable priced home defense weapon that will serve that purpose well. A 9MM would have been just as good a purpose and the ammo cheaper. But it's still not a bad choice and hopefully you'll enjoy it/ I'm just a gun nut so ignore my one sided opinion about brands etc.
