Defective V-10, certain engines only

Was surfing over at blue oval news and saw that certain V-10 engines were having problems that Ford is NOT going out of their way to notify owners. The engines were produced in March-April time frame of 2003. It has to do with the crankshaft not finished correctly causing spun bearing and engine failures. More info at

Well in fact they did a recall on those. Come to find out, a very, very few actually made it into any vehicle. They caught this pretty early on. This was posted to the V10 forum back in July actually.
