tire size

Im running 235/85/16's on my 79 F-350 4X4 and I have dually's on the rear, and I wan't wider tire's on the front.I need to find a size that is wider then what I have on the rear but I don't want to get the T-case bound up from differant size tire's.Can anyone tell me a tire size that is the same hight as the 235/85/16 but wider.I seen this tire look on a 79 F350 but the guy didn't use the 4 wheel drive. But it looked I just want to make sure all 6 are spining the same amount of time's.

Many of the major tire companies have tire data online so you can compare diameters and revolutions per mile etc.

This size will keep the same hight as the 235/85/16,and not mess with the 4 wheel drive? Are you near upstate ny?

yea those tires are basicaly the same hieght, go to www.4lo.com and at the top you will see "metric tire conversion" type in the numbers and you will see that one is only .1" taller then the other...nothing significant at all, plus both the 265 and 235 have a load range of E. if your looking to keep it as close as possible with some extra width thats what i would stick with. yea i have extended family that i go to visit very often in Cortland. wish i was a full time upstater, cant stand downstate. IM A COUNTRY BOY!! get me off long island!!
