Where is the IAC?

Where is this at I couldn't find it in the Hynes manual. what is the full name also. This is for a 2.9l engine

IAC = intake air control. some say idle air control because it is used for the idle circuit. don't know location.

If you have the 83-92 Ranger/Bronco II Haynes manual - it should be on page 4-4. It's called the Air Bypass Valve.

Its located on the upper intake, half way back, passengers side, looks like a film canister with a tail, two wires.
