Oil Pump Replacement

Anybody know how hard it is to replace the oil pump??? I did the kids Bronco and that was a HUGE pain... It looks like I just have to drop the pan and go for it

It is behind the two timing chains. If you look at the bottom center behind the sprockets, it is the silver piece with the 2 black bolts. You have to remove EVERYTHING in front of or attached to the timing chain cover, timing chains, sprockets, timing chain guides, etc as well as the oil pan, pick up, etc........ Very involved project to replace it...........................

Unless the engine is out or you have ALOT of time I would farm this one out.
