Help! Outside temp & Compass
I have a 2001 F250 4X4 Super Duty, XLT. I would like to add an outside temp & compass, but I don't want the mirror type. Do any of you know of an aftermarket, overhead unit similar to the Expedition's?

That is exactly what I am looking for, but I have been unable to locate a new or used one. I even tried the parts service on the net looking for a used one, no luck. Maybe I'm calling it the wrong name or something, I thought it was an "overhead convenience group". I've not been able to get my ford dealer interested, not expensive enough I guess, and no parts place around here has a clue. That's why I posted the message. Maybe someone here knows of an aftermarket item that mounts overhead.

I got an 2000 F-150 overhead console off of E-Bay and put it in my 2001 F-250 SC. Little modification to the bracket, made my own harness and added a temp sensor. A little hairy cutting the headliner, but it came out great. Now I am just reminded how cold it is outside and I just want to drive that 250 all the way SOUTH!
