Amp Won't Turn On
my amp will not turn on......i hooked the remote wire to the specified wire on the cd player and that din't work.........sooooooooooo........i tried hooking it to the fuse box to the radio fuse..........STILL dose not come on........is there any way to see if anything is wrong??>>>>>

Check your ground, make sure it's a clean connection. Check your power wire and fuses. If still nothing, bypass the remote wire by connecting it to the power wire. If it works the problem is with the remote turn on, but if it works don't leave it like this or your amp will never turn off and your battery will die. The remote turn on (blue wire) and the power antenna (blue/white wire) are not the same (depending on your HU). Hope that works.

I would first check if the amp is the problem. What i used to do is ground amp and then touch hot wire directly to the battery if it does turn on then its not grounding good in the vehicle or wiring is faulty. but if it doesnt its either a fuse on or in the amp or the amp itself is defective.
