instruments/ gauges dead!! help...
I have a 1997 F-150 4x4
Last week my gauges died, the lights / illumination still work, as well as the cruise control still works.. so I have no fuel, speed, odometer etc...
I have changed all of the associated fuses...

In the older trucks they had a IVR (instrument voltage reguator) mounted to the back of the cluster. It's a small rectangle box with two connecting points. It regulates the voltage to the guages. I didn't know that it went to the speedo also? That's a little strange. The parts stores carry the IVR.
