i've got a 360 with a miss in the mid rpm range, but not at idle. i've checked or replaced all ignition stuff. is there anything in the carb i could check or change that could cause missing like this?
Does it miss under load? or is it an intermittent miss that occurs at any time? What have you replaced in the ignition? Does it run well at RPM's past that point or continue to miss? Lot's of info for you to get back with and we'll try to help out.
sorry, i see my thread was kinda vague... i rebuilt the motor about 1000 miles ago. new wires, plugs, cap rotor. checked compression after at least 500 miles (still had miss) and all cylinders were good. all plugs look fine. it idles very well and i can't hear the miss at all at idle. only comes when i rev it up to about 2500 or so in park/neutral. i haven't had the truck out this winter yet. i'll try to drive it again tomorrow to check for certain that it misses under load (pretty sure it does). the miss only seems to be one cylinder, but when i pull plug wires to identify which one it is, it runs much worse, so i know each cylinder is firing at idle. also, advance is about 35 or so final and 10 initial.
that's all i can think of right now, but keep the questions coming
thanks
