They usually click like a big dog when the ground is bad! Check your wiring. If the ground wire came lose they will just click until the cows come home. I have never had one go bad before, doesn't mean they can't though.
I checked every fuse, slpice and connection, the only thing that would stop this thing from buzzing was to dissconect it.
I ended up just getting a new one, plugged it in , programed my remotes and bingo,no problem.
I am also happier with the new unit, the distance is much greater than the old one and also, the lock/unlock reaction time is super fast compared to the old.
>Yeti...Do you got a model #, price, where to buy??? Did you
>have keyless before this unit???
I went with Model RS1100-1100E, I got it for $59+tax at my local preformance shop. I have seen them on ebay for less but I wanted it NOW!!! so I payed up.
I have power locks but no keyless entry so I needed the type "c" kit
part # 778- Two relays with pre-wired harness
Designed for Type C (Ford) door locks at an additional $9.85
I had this same unit, so I bought the same thing again, so I wouldn't need to re-wire the whole thing again.
