ABS Dash Light On
On my 1999 Ford Explorer, my ABS Dash light came on a few weeks ago (80,000 miles). I know that my breaks still are working fine, just no ABS. My question is, is there anyway to tell which sensor is getting the bad reading (whether it's bad or dirty) without having to pull the tires and rotors?

I just had this on my 00 explorer my neighbor pulled the codes for me (he works for aford dealer) turns out it was the rear abs sensor which is located on the rear diff. when Igot the part the guy told me this part had been superseded. which probably means ford needed to redesign it . I think it cost me about 27.00 and was pretty easy to install
