Question Question about oil leak in 4.6 V8?

I have a 4.6L V8 in a 97 f150 and I took it into the dealership to get a tune up. For some reason they didn't mention this to me, but when I got home I looked on the receipt and it said I have an oil leak in the rear of header above starter? Does anyone know what the cause of this would be or have ever had this problem? And if so what kind of repairs and how much money am I looking at.

the head gasket is leaking at the rear. ford has a revised (thicker) gasket. i've done a few of these, its usually on the right side. i believe its a 12 hour job (book wise) and whatever the labor rate is, you should be able to get a ball park price. good luck

i would say its the rear main seal before it would be the head gasket.
