OK, I finaly got my buddy to agree to scrap the front blocks. It took me a while, but he now understands the problem. Now the question. Where can he get springs to give him the equivalent lift and retain the stock ride? I have looked around, but the only thing I see that gives the 3.5" he needs is a relocation kit.....I don't really like those either. Who makes just the springs?
Try Toughcountry. When I was shopping around for my kit I looked at the 3.5" system. It is 3.5" front springs with a 1.5" add-a-leaf for the rear. You could call a dealer and see if you can order the spring only. The whole kit was priced at $650 or so.
