Wobbly Wheels
Hello,
Here is the thing.
I just installed a brand spanking new 4" Lift kit on my f-250. I put "like new" tires on it, all good tread, evenly warn, then new ball joints, tie rods, and wheel barings in it.
Now when I drive the truck it wobbles, as if the tires are going side to side. It typically does it only around lo speeds 25-35 mph. But it is very uncomfortable and not a joy to ride it when it wobbles like it does. So what could it be?
I also got it alligned, but before I did some tread had warn unevenly on one tire, (now it is rotated to the back). But I also was wondering if the tires were not balanced right, but would that cause so much wobble. A friend of mine said that you really can't balance the 36x12.5 hummer tires (wrangler M/T II)'s but what do you think???

Balancing would just cause vibrations it wouldn't cause a wobble. Jack the front tires off the ground, can you move them all at? Possibly the locknut for the wheel bearings was not set tight enough, just a start.
