I Have a 2001 F150 SuperCrew with the OFF-Road Package. It came stock with 265/70-17. I want to put on the largest possible tires that I can without having to lift the truck. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
If you don't want to install a lift the best you'll get inside the wheel wells depend on how wide you want to run.
I use "Super Swampers" that are 33"x14.5" wide but I have a 5" lift and even with that if I turn my wheels fully they will rub.
If you run 35", the best you'll get are 12" wide tires. Remember, if you put larger the diameter tires on, you'll change your power band and find it down shifting to make it up the hills.
If you go to 35", you'll have to change your front and rear gears out.
