Lincoln model 3200 MIG

I'm looking at a Lincoln MIG 3200 at HD and wanted your opinions. They also have a Weldpac 100HD. I tried the search function several times over the last hour but it seems it is too busy so I'll just throw it out to y'all.

I did a web search for the 3200 and drew a blank it has a 25 - 135 amp rating and is 115v.

What are you thinking you are going to weld? These machines are notorious for being underpowered for anything but soupcans. Read Franz in the other post here about Mig for Bodywork. Those models are specifically made for that market and they are not the regular machine models like an SP would be. If I had my heart set on a red one it would be a SP175 with the tapped voltage selection. If I wanted to save a few $ and have machine that would do the same work it would be Hobart HH175. These are 240V machines, still reasonable cost and will melt more than warm butter. TSC has sales on packages with the HH all the time and they are the same machine as you might buy from a welding store. Those 3200's are not and it wouldnt suprise me if they were foriegn made. http://www.hobartwelders.com/mboard/index.php?s=
