I have a 91 Ranger Super cab, 7.5 w/ 3.73 gears and 235/75/R15 tires. My Rear passenger wheel is locking up. I mean it won't move. I can go in reverse ok but when I put it in first it binds up and locks up. after I back up a few times it seems to release, but I am a little frustrated. I haven't used the parking brake for a couple of weeks so I don't think it is that. I was thinking wheel bearing, or something.
I would tend to disagree.
Try going under the truck and, with the P-brake released, give the right rear cable a real good yank. This is an age old trick we've been using on the work trucks, and cars for decades.
Thanks for the ideas guys. I adjusted the adjusting star and it seems to have done the trick. I am going to take it to the shop just to make sure though.
