Question about changing tire size
Hey all! As I know very little about tire sizing, I need some input! The stock tire on my Ranger is 245/75-16 and I am wanting to get some BFG All Terrian T/A ko's. While getting new tires, I would also like to fill up the wheel well a bit. What size should I get, that will not cause rubbing? Thanks!

info on tire sizes
245 is the widest part of the tire, 75 is the aspect ratio or sidewall height(75% of 245) and 16 is your rim size
to convert to inches
245/25.4=9.65 in wide
9.65x75%=7.24
7.24x2+16=30.48 overall height

the second number (75) is the percentage of the width that the sidewall is. the first number is the tire width. the last number, is of course, the rim height teh R in teh number means that it is a Radial tire, versus bias ply or somesuch.
