I always thought the "Private Pyle goes wacko" scene was way too cheezy. He just looks like an idiot - not psychologically disturbed.
Have you guys noticed the inconsistencies in the movie? In the beginning, when Sgt. Hartmann is yelling at them, when he's making his rounds in the barracks, not singling anybody out, take a look at who's standing at what bunk.
Once he starts singling people out, notice that they're all at different bunks.
There's a bunch of other bloopers, but all in all it's a great movie.

do YOU want to explain all the problems to Gunnery Sgt Hartman ? That guy is so hard, if anything ever happened to his wife or kids, he'd probably just go to supply and requisition new ones.
