Big Tires

What are the largest size tires I can fit on my 88' ford ranger w/out a lift kit or body lift?

1999 XLT 3.0, open rear end, Flowmaster 30's, K&N
I want a big Michelin tire like around a 255 or 260x75 or so, I want it to take up my entire wheel well, raise my truck up and be wide
What do u think the biggest tire (not a giant muddin tire) (street tread tire) i could fit on my truck and still be able to have the full suspension travel?

31x10.50... Some are available with all season tread patterns that are basically glorified street tires... Wouldn't catch me dead with them on mine, but, to each his own...
