Catalytic Converter
Does anyone know if my 2001 psd would have come with a catalytic converter? I took advise from a mechanic who also had a psd & had him put a straight 4" pipe frome the downpipe back. I love the sound & the power. My problem is that I don't know if he took the cat off & here in PA they are going to look for the cat on any vehicle that came from the factory with one. Needless to say, if he took it off, I didn't get it back. Could be a costly error. Anyone with an answer?

Hey Ace, My 01 did not come with a cat. I changed my exhaust out myself to a 4" from downpipe back and their was not no cat. I put a new flow thru muffler on it but wished maybe I had just run straight pipe all the way. Hope this helps.
