Trouble Shooting Help
I would really appreciate any input that someone could offer as to what may be the problem with my pu.
I have an 89 F250 4x4 5 speed with a 460 motor in it. The truck has about 90,000 miles on it and has always been maintained and has never had a significant problem. The symptoms are simple. When the truck is cold it starts easy, one or two cranks and it turns over great. On the other hand if the truck runs and then sits for half an hour, when I go to start it again it just cranks and cranks and cranks. Same thing at like the gas station or grocery store. But if I leave it for a couple of hours and the motor cools down it will again start immediately.
Please help me out with a few ideas. Thanks friends.

I think the one you have is mounted on the distributor. Just pull the 6 pin connector and then remove the two screws. There is a few tests that can be done with a meter, but the part itself is only 20-25 bucks.
