Hello, new to the site. I broke the glass on the right front turn signal housing on my 2001 F250 Super Duty and am having trouble getting it out to replace it. So far I haven't gotten past the 2 screws accessible from under the light. Would probably help if I could work on it during the daylight but so far haven't been able to. Anyway, any help I could get would be appreciated. What else do I have to remove? Funny, a guy brought me his dog today which was having seizures and almost dead, I diagnosed it, treated it, and sent it home practically normal in 30 minutes but I can't get a little light out of a pickup truck in a whole evening. Go figure.
I think after you've remove the 2 screws, the only other thing holding it in are 2 metal pins and all you have to do is pull on the housing and then remove the lights. Hope this helps.
I got it, You were right, just the 2 screws and then the 2 metal pins, but there were also 2 plastic pins so it took a lot more persuasion than I thought it would, hadn't wanted to break anything that I might want to keep.
I know this forum is old .. but just in case .. you guys happen to lurk in ...
THANKS ... geez, I've been trying to figure this out for 2 days just to replace a bulb.
and like all, I'm afraid to break this cheap plastic that will cost me a bundle to replace I'm sure.
Now, If I can just figure out where to buy a good bench seat locally I'll be happy ..
Thanks guys
Bull Ray, no problem, thank you for using the search option!!
Not that this question comes up a lot, but sometimes there are 4 threads asking the same question. It's always nice to see a new member checking out the old threads.
