Battery problems or what?

I am having a problem with my Bronco 302. I can crank it and run it and it runs great. I can turn the Bronco off and get back in it the next morning and my battery will dead. I can charge by battery and hook it back up and without turning the key the volts in the battery will start dropping. Anyone have any idea what I need to check or get checked out? Any suggestions would be great.

sounds like u have a shot battery, or u have a major draw somewhere on the truck. It shouldnt start going down right away even with like the headlights on, which is one of the largest draws, and you would see them on. twhen u take the battery out and charge it, it holds that charge? i would take the battery in and get a load test down after you charge it. if its shot, go get urself a nice long lasting good investment .. a motorcraft battery. If the battery tests out ok .. u'll have to start searching aroun dyour truck for large current draws. i would think something taking enough juice to repidly discharge the battery would be noticibly on, or trip a fuse.
