Control Trac Functioning
I have a 2002 EXPLORER XLT with auto and 4.0 SOHC and 3.73 LS rear end.
ARE all 4 wheels supposed to lock when 4x4 is engaged?
I have gotten in deep snow on several occasions and have engaged 4x4. Some wheels have spun while others have not. I can't find information anywhere on how the Control Trac system is supposed to function. Can anyone inform me on what I should be expecting when 4x4 is engaged???
