Gear shift lever
I have a 2002 F450,when I put the gear shift lever in park and go to turn the key off,I have to hold up on the gear lever.Is this something that I can fix,or Ford mech? Still in warranty.

Sounds like your shift linkage is out of adjustment a bit. I believe you can snug it up a bit yourself if you want. Just look to the left of the transmission (driver's side) you will see where the linkage hooks to the side of the transmission. I am not sure of the adjustment, but look around and it should be obvious...I think it is a set of nuts that can be turned either way to tighten or losen. Have somebody hold the lever in the "park" position, then take up the slack in the linkage...this should do it...just be careful not to make it too tight as the other positions may be thrown off.
Another way is just take it to the dealer if it is still under warranty. The fix should be very simple for them....if you set an apt, you may even be able to just wait on it if that is more convenient. Hope this helps
