4x4 does not work Please Help

I have just purchased a 1986 Bronco II 2.9 automatic touch drive 4x4. Motor runs great it drives like a new truck but 4x4 does not work. When you turn the key on both the 4x4 and low lock lights are on. These lights do not go off no matter how many times you push the buttons. Also do not here any noise at the transfer case. Have checked the fuses. Other than that I am lost. Please help me.

well there are lots of people with the same question and everybody tells them if everything checks out then it is most likely the electric motor on the case
