FORD SUPER-DUTY
I was thinking of buying a 2002 SD with a regular cab,8 ft.box,V10,automatic,2WD and 3.73 rear. Does anyone have this configuration? Any comments? the two-wheel drive version still has twin I beam front suspension right? Everyone used to tell me that the twin I beam sucked.Is it true? I always liked the design,personally.

If you don't need the 4WD then you should like the choice so far. As far as the I beam front, remember that this is the same design used in Baja races for years, very tough and a good design. If you keep everything stock it will never let you down. Just like the TTB, which is the 4WD version, it can have alingment issues if the springs wear out or ball joints go bad. Good luck on the purchase!
