My newest Panel was a 60. Not sure how far they went past that. Not very far though, because of body styles and the advent of the van. I am curious though, myself.
I think my Dad had a 61 or 62 Ford Panel. He used to call it a Pick Up Delivery. He used to pick up my weekend racer & spares and haul them to whatever sleepy nowhere track from Altamont to Riverside. Loudest whiney interior, I swear it was a relief to get into my driving gear just for some quiet. That truck never broke down and I think Dad sold it to my Uncle who used it for another generation of young racers. We had a Winnebago by that time because I turned out to be more whiney then that PU/D if I didn't get any sleep before the races. I sure wouldn't mind hooking up with a Ford or Mercury Panel as a project vehicle down the road.
I have discovered that ford did make panel trucks until 64 under the P series name i hope that helps some one out. That is really cool to know but does any one have any pictures or have seen or know where one is?
