Ok i am new to this forums, but i was recommend to yall from a freind,
I went out to start my truck after a day of mudding and when i got in i turned my key and the "wait to start light" was on i started up and then the "engine temp" light slowley came on, so being the Newbi i am to this truck i sat there and let it idle to heat up some, well i still didnt go away and my engine temp gauge was reading normal so i went up and down the street trying to get the temp to rise and the gauge temp rose but the check engine temp was still on. do ya think its the thermo? and advice would help
Try un-plugging and replugging the wires on the sensors. There are two temp sensors located on the front of the drivers side head. One is gauge, the other is the temp light. It could just be a bad connection.
