Tranny swap

I'm going to swap my 86' f-150 4x4 4 speed to an auto out of an 83' f-150. Is there anything that I will need to do besides adding a cooler?

i would make sure the driveshaft is going to be too long or too short. Plus Does your yoke change over as well.

are you changing to a c6. i have a truck with a c6 and it has 2 tranny coolers. it is an 83 supercab with c6 302 and a 3 core radiator.
