I once changed wires on my 351,used the diagrame I made the last time I changed them. Started it up and it was bad, after further checking i rememberd the diagrame was made for my 460.

Also on the topic of dumb stuff...I have another vehicle, an 85 Ford T-Bird, which for some reason needed something fixed behind the dash. After I put the dash back together and thought I was all done I fired it up to test it out. No more than about 20 seconds passed before I realized I had a puddle of oil accumulating on the passenger side floorboard all over my carpet. Little to my surprise, I had forgotten to reattach the oil line to the back of my after market oil pressure gauge. What a mess.
