Head-rest rattleing - please help
I don't want to sound like I'm whinning, but the passanger side head rest on my '02 with 60/40 bench is loose and makes a REALLY annoying rattleing sound when I go over anything except smooth pavement.
It appears to just have to much slop in it. Is there anyway to fix this? Would this qualify as a warrenty issue?

Thanks Dave, that's is what I think I'm going to end up doing after the holidays.
If they do cover it under warranty, what do you think would be replaced/fixed (just the seat back or the whole 60% section of the bench)?

I havent seen a rattling headrest on one of these so I dont really know what will be done to tighten it. If the problem is in the seat back frame itself that is what they would probably replace. It's extremely unlikely that the upholstery and foam would be replaced.

What if your truck is out of factory warranty? My truck now has over 36k milels. I have the same trouble out of my passenger seat headrest for my 60/40 seats. It will drive you crazy. Any ideas on how to fix it?
