camshaft problem?
i have an '89 f-150 with a 302. when i drive at speeds less than 55 it runs just fine. as soon as i cross the 55 mph line, there is loud grinding that vibrates the floor of the truck. twice now it has chewed the gear off my distributor. i'm guessing it's a cam problem. the oil pump seems to be fine as well so i've ruled that out. any ideas? thanks
