Got a swap in mind.
I've found a mid 90's F-150 300 six, E40D tranny, dual tank 2wd that i'm looking at for $600. Mind you the body of the truck, well it has a rip down just about the entire passenger side of the truck, thru the pass door & bed & fenders. Basically its a parts truck, the motor & tranny work well, and i was curious if i could just get another computer as i'm converting my truck back to its stock T-18 4spd, and swap the six along with its EFI components into my 82.
Am i looking at running a marathon up a brick wall or is this worthwhile? how much would i have to rewire to get it in there?

It should be fairly straight forward if you had the PCM and wiring harness for a manual trans truck. The PCM can be had from Ford, and there might be a wiring harness available in the aftermarket.
