I am having a problem with my door locks....it started with my passenger door lock not working....and within a few minutes the back locks stopped working also. The only lock that works is the drivers door lock, and it will stop working if you push the lock/unlock button too many times (almost like they are battery powered and the batteries just die) Has anyone else had this problem?? I talked with a buddy of mine and he is having the exact same problem on his Ford Windstar, which has the same looking doorlock system. Thanks
Careful! You'll get the "manual" fellas after you on this one!
I've experienced this before. I found that turning the truck off seemed to reset the locks. Once it didn't and I found the root cause: The door unlock button on my door (driver's) was sticking a bit. It wasn't coming back to center. My fix was to trim the aftermarket trim piece that I put on a bit but I wonder if your truck's button could be sticking.
