Changing front end u-joints

How hard is it to change the front U-joints on an '87 F150 4X4? And are there any specials things to remember when doing it. I'm going to do it this Saturday, so quick responses are appreciated.

Too late to answer your question.

But I like your photo. Can't quite tell, is it a buck?

I changed my front end U-joints when i did my brakes this fall. it wasn't all that hard but if the U-joints haven't been changed since the truck was new i'm sure they are gonna be a B**** to get off i had a really hard time. it took me about 2 hours to get the two out with a U-joint press. the third by your front differential if you have a 4x4 have a c-clamp holding it in the pumpkin so you would have to get that clip off to get to that U-joint to change it. but while you are on the project you might wanna repack your bearings if you haven't done so for a while. Good luck with the project. just take your time to get it right. Also the spindle bearing you might wanna check them too or even replace them they get pretty bad after 15 years.
