I have a 94 Ranger. Last night I was driving and the headlights started flickering on and off. I turned off the truck and started it up again. However, half of the speedometer light isn't lit. So 0-45 mph is lit up and the rest is not. Is this a fuse problem or some wires shorting? A new stereo was recently put in so that might have caused the problem as well. Thanks for the help.

 

Welcome to FTE. The headlamps going on and off would be an overload condition, too many amps thru the circuit. One of the dash lamps out sounds like a bad bulb.

The recent stereo installation would lead me to check where the power connections were made.
