Thanks. I'm thinking that might be a good circuit to hook up aftermarket driving lights. How'd you find the site, I did a forum search and couldn't find much at all.
Watch out if you have a plow. Ford makes a certain number with daytime runners, for Canada, and my truck has them. Well, the geek at the Ford dealer hooked them up and needless to say my plow had a mind of its own. The blade would start rising and trurning as I was driving down the road. Had to rewire the whole thing. Ouch.
Thanks again, but after reading the DRL info sheet I don't this circuit will work for aftermarket lights. I'm thinking now that an unused circuit tied to the ignition might be the answer. As for the DRL themselves, I'll see if I can find the resistor and unplug it.
