289 help

I am putting a 289 into my 68 f100 stepside, but I am running into a problem I am putting a set of e7te heads off of a 88 302 on the 289 block. Can anyone help me with the pushrod length. I am trying to get away from having to buy a pushrod length checker. I was just wondering if anyone around here had done the same or knew someone that had.

I am assuming you are using the E7TE stock bolt down rockers too? If so, just use push rods from a NON-Roller cam 302 with the same bolt down rocker set-up. That should work!
