Question Aiming Headlights

Hey!!,

I did a search but still need some help, please!

I just replaced the bulbs with Silver Stars. But now, I am trying to aim the headlights (they were always out of whack!) on my 99 Super Duty. I found the adjusters (I think) but what is the correct way to adjust them?? (I always carry the same load in the bed.)

Please help as my lights are lighting up the owls in the trees!!

Thanks
Tim

Try a search on google.com. There are a bunch of different methods for 'proper' aiming.

I just went through that after lifting the front 8 inches and the back 6 inches(nose pointed up).

A t-handle with a 7mm socket works the best. Counter-clockwise brings em down.

Its the little gold screw behind the light bucket towards the fender, a couple of inches down. About three complete turns should bring it down from the owls to the ground squirrels.
