Lazy Odometer
I have an intermittent problem with my odometer in cold weather (speedo keeps working fine). My ride is a 2000 F-250 XL SD SuperCab Long Box 2wd w/ 18K miles. Don't want my first post to be too long winded with details. I'll be glad to fill in the particulars if anyone is interested but wondered if anyone else had a lazy odometer.

Sounds like something mechanical in the instrumrnt panel it self. Since the speedometer is working normal, with no driveability problems, that rules out the rear differential speed sensor. Hate to say it but looks like you may need a new gauge cluster.
