Performance Upgrades
I just bought a '01 Lightining and I am still a noob to Fords, trucks, and supercharges....used to be into hondas....I do not know what companies are respectible and give the best hp gains...Please tell if I am going the write or wrong way...Ok I am going to start with simple bolt-ons and a chip ...I was planning on buying a

I deal with Jonny Lightning Performance,I have built up 3 L's so far and those things fly.Change the lower blower pulley 4lb I would suggest but you can go 6 and be ok,Cold air,Diablo chip.The headers are very expensive JLp are like 900.00 but I did a few of those to so they are up to you.

i went with a diable jlp chip go for the dual flip chip! a pulley intake and a high flow muffler, dont forget to replace/upgrade your spark plugs that should be a good start . i dont think the headers are going to give you much hp if thats what your looking for. trans valve body would be a good idea too.

Like most said : Cold air , #4 Lower pulley , Diablo chip , Valve line mod and Your good to go !
