Rebuilt 292

Hey all, rebuilt my 292 two summers ago, finally was able to get it started and driving but it was running rich so I took the top of my carb (autolite 2bbl) off to check the float and now it only catches but won’t idle, fuel delivery and spark are present.. I know internet diagnosis is difficult but I was wondering if someone had any similar experiences or advice on what to look for.

I had a similar problem. I had failed to secure the needle to the float properly.
