I bought 2 serpentine belts thinking the part store sold me the wrong part twice.. I was routing the belt wrong (two different times) even after looking at the diagram… we all have days, glad it was an easy fix and free!

agreed, easy fixes are the best fixes.
i was actually going to suggest running your own new power line. i have done that on quite a few vehicles, the last one being a 2014 F550 with base am/fm radio. i put a jenson unit i had laying around in it so the service truck had navigation and hands free phone in the dash instead of relying on the phone itself.
surprise!!! no acc or "keep alive" wire in the truck for the radio.
