2019 recently purchased a oem PC3Z 6A785 A , today I pulled off stock one thinking it would be a simple swap . Pain in the a** taking off orig but installing newer was a simple task until it wasn’t ! Those hose will not fit , everything I’ve read and countless videos say it just slides on and locks , mine slides on and with very light pull it slides off ! Looks like it’s bottoming out on the male barb ! Anyone here actually done a swap if so what’s the secret ??? Thanks
Several of my buddies have 2017-2019 trucks and they've installed this new filter with no issues. I installed one on my 2022. The connection to the intake manifold was different than what came off but it fit on there and was secure. Not real sure what you got going on?
